The Montenegrin Academy of Management successfully delivered the fifth MAOM workshop titled Computational Process Theory Development for Organizational Science, organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics Podgorica, University of Montenegro and with the support of the global Academy of Management (AOM).
The workshop was held from September 18 to September 23, 2025 at the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro in Podgorica.

The program was led by Dr Goran Kuljanin, Associate Professor at DePaul University (Chicago, USA), who introduced participants to the principles and applications of computational process theories in organizational research.
Throughout the workshop, participants explored the differences between process and construct theories and learned how computational approaches can be used to model and analyze organizational phenomena. The program also included practical sessions in which participants worked with R and RStudio to develop and simulate computational models and analyze the resulting data.
Through this hands-on approach, participants gained insight into how computational process theories can be developed and applied to better understand organizational dynamics.
Through the MAOM workshop series, the Montenegrin Academy of Management continues to support the development of innovative methodological approaches and research skills within the academic community.
