The Montenegrin Academy of Management, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics Podgorica, University of Montenegro, and with the support of the global Academy of Management (AOM), is organizing the fifth MAOM workshop titled Computational Process Theory Development for Organizational Science.
The workshop will take place on September 18, 19, 22, and 23, 2025 at the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro, in Podgorica (Room 202). Sessions on September 18, 19, and 22 will be held from 17:00 to 21:00 CET, while the final session on September 23 will take place from 17:00 to 19:00 CET.
The program focuses on the development of computational process theories in organizational science. During the workshop, participants will explore the differences between process and construct theories, learn the foundations of computational theory development, and work with programming tools in R and RStudio to simulate theoretical models and analyze simulation data.
The workshop will be led by Dr Goran Kuljanin, Associate Professor at DePaul University in Chicago, USA. His research focuses on computational process theories of teamwork, leadership, and performance. His work has been published in journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Leadership Quarterly, Psychological Methods, and Organizational Research Methods, and has received multiple international research awards.

The workshop is intended for PhD students, early-career researchers, professors, research associates from Montenegrin universities, and advanced master’s students in management and organizational sciences. Participation is free of charge with the support of the Academy of Management (AOM).
