MAOM Workshop 1: Qualitative Research in Practice: From Theory to Software Applications

The Montenegrin Academy of Management, with the support of the global Academy of Management, had the pleasure of organizing a workshop on qualitative research methodologies, bringing together around 50 professors, researchers, associates, and students from all four Montenegrin universities.

We were honored to have Professor Ivana Milosevic from the College of Charleston as the lead trainer, guiding participants through the practical application of qualitative research methods. Her expertise provided a deep dive into methodological approaches and real-world applications, making the sessions both insightful and highly engaging.

The workshop began with an introductory lecture by Professor Milorad Novićević from the University of Mississippi, who set the stage by providing a foundational overview of qualitative research, laying the groundwork for further discussions and hands-on learning.

The in-person sessions took place on February 10-11, 2025, at the Faculty of Economics Podgorica, University of Montenegro, but the learning continues! Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge through online modules running until mid-March, ensuring a more comprehensive and impactful learning experience.

A big thank you to all participants and speakers for their valuable contributions! We look forward to future collaborations and knowledge-sharing initiatives. 🚀
